Cressida's head tilted to the side a bit as she responded, "I don't know what you're addressing, Micah. I have no spiders to send nor call." She did have to hand it to her students though. It was incredibly impressive how they were able to do pull off such a trick and it seemed that Micah had no idea who was responsible. He only assumed it was her, and certainly, while the reasons for sending the spiders were in fact the same as what hers would be when she did get her 'revenge' on Micah, this was not her.
She also found it a little flattering in a way. And comforting. More so the latter. Often times she felt unsure as to whether or not her students felt any sort of connection to her. Most conversations she had with them made her feel like she'd taken a step forward and then ten back. But they acted and Leon had all but asked for permission, and she had all but given it to him. They acted in her defense, even though whatever she did decide to do wouldn't require their help. It was comforting to know that they wanted to do something.
"I'm afraid if you're looking for a culprit for anything, it is not me," she added after taking a long drink of her tea, "Though a few students did bring some fascinating specimens into Biology today." And by brought them in, they were somewhere on their person and she picked it off before another student saw and slapped them with a book.
