Skate the pain away
Who: Adrian and Oliver
When: After classes Thursday
Where: Streets of Camden and the park
Ollie just about skipped his last class in his anticipation for a day out before the snow returned, but he finished them and traded his bag for his board in a matter of minutes after the bell. If there was anything that could help his mood this was it. He shot one last text to Ade before hopping on his board and doing a couple of tricks on his way to the front gate. Sure he was being a bit of a show off for some of the other students, even winking at one girl as he grinded off a bench so that she could keep to the pathway, but it was all in good fun. He needed fun. His life was supposed to have gotten easier since the girl he was in to was supposed to be dating him; of course, he wasn't sure if they were still on or not after the Valentine's debacle. He loved her still of course, but he wasn't sure if she would ever actually want to trust him. They hadn't had a problem with his flirting lately since he had toned it down a lot(though since their argument he had picked it up a bit more), but she just didn't seem to trust him still. He trusted her and he was just worried about her safety. They likely could have had a perfectly good discussion where she made her points, but instead she just got mad at him for thinking it wasn't a good idea and for not trusting the person she chose to do it with. Then there was the whole thing where she was purposely keeping this from him. If she was doing that she knows that it's something she shouldn't be doing.
He really need this. He needed a way to clear his mind of that. Calm himself down. Try and get a new perspective on things. Having Adrian around would help with that too. They could have some playful competitions and let him just forget all about the problems in his life.
When he came to the entrance of the school, he decided to skate around for a bit so that Ade had enough time to catch up. Ollie wasn't sure what his friend's last class was, and he didn't want to get too far ahead since he really needed the company too. He felt as though he hadn't really hung out with anyone lately. It just felt weird having to watch what he said so much. Flirting was kind of a natural part of his personality, and since Emily wanted him to stop doing it so much he found himself over thinking what he said quite a bit. He wasn't about to completely go back to acting like he was single today, but he was tired of feeling like shit all the time as well as feeling like he couldn't talk. He sent a message to Emily in an attempt to start making peace, but who knows if she would accept it.
