If she were actually wanting to intimidate the demon she would have found his response amusing. It showed he didn't have anything. Sure she had some vampire weaknesses, but she knew what they were better than he did. She also knew some of the best ways to get around them. Unfortunately she was trying to do what Cressida had told her. The woman was beautiful, intelligent, and Fred couldn't help but want to make sure that she kept the teacher's approval. That meant not pushing this any farther.
She kept hold of his eyes with hers for a moment longer before forcing herself to turn away and begin walking. This would be his final chance to just let things go. If he tried to stop her now she likely would just go ahead and send him into his own little world of torment, but she had to resist that urge.
