Jasper and Lilie
Why was he doing this, it was so stupid. In all honesty Jasper hated most of the holiday themed events the school planned. It was juvenile and foolish, he would not partake in any of it. He probably wouldn't be missed if he left now. He was just about to leave when he saw the reason why he signed up in the first place. Lilie...she had signed up and...if she didn't look absolutely breathtaking tonight. He hoped she had liked his flowers, sure he knew it was a little silly to give lilies to a Lilie and his little note was cheesy, but sue him he wasn't a poet. He knew he could have gotten her one of the love grams but please, he wanted to get her a different kind of flower, make them stand out from the hundred others she was probably going to get.
In the note he had said he was going to tell her and it was going to be tonight. His heart was racing despite the several shots of liquid courage he had partaken in before coming that night. His feet were bobbing up and down on the floor shaking the table which earned him a glare from the girl sitting across from him. He didn't care about these other girls he just wanted to get his five minutes with Lilie, one on one time with her.
The bell rang and the girl got up with a huff and moved on. Jasper glanced up seeing who he had to suffer through next. His heart stopped...it was her...this was it...this was his moment. He felt his chest tighten and he grabbed his glass of water and took several deep gulps...which did nothing. Breath Jasper, just breath, remember you're cool and calm...nothing to be afraid of, she's just a girl. Just a girl who you've been in love with since the moment you saw her. The girl who you love every part of and all you ever hope for is her happiness and you pray that she can find it with you. Yeah...nothing to be scared about. He gave her a strained smile and a small wave as she made her way over...he didn't trust his voice just yet.
