Lilie spent a lot of weekends either at the school hanging out with the kids in Kitsune and Pegasus or in town. Tonight she was heading into town because it was an easy place to hide away from Taran who she ditched back at the school. Yes, she'd promised him time, but not all of her time and she'd be damned if she let him have it all. Especially since he learned how to use a friend of Lilie's. Vixey was too damn sweet for her own good and while it wasn't boring, Lilie was resistant to Taran's company. Principle, pride, and whatever other word that started with a letter of the alphabet that were related to either of those.
Figuring that her other friends would have found their way there, Lilie departed from the school on her own and was almost into town when she spotted a familiar face walking in her direction.
Leon.
Mickey's ex-boyfriend and a guy who Lilie never really got to know. Truthfully, that happened with a lot of Hydra. It was only more recently that she and Ashton really began talking to each other more than passing comments in journal entries where teasing was handed to the dragon and huffy replies returned in exchanged. Then there was Ambriel, who she told herself to tolerate because Davian saw something in him to have the demon start changing his ways, but there was a confidence in him that she liked as well. Too bad Ambriel was a dick. Then there was Jae, who seemed content not being the center of attention, and well, Lilie was friends with Barclay. It left Leon who was a relative mystery to Lilie save that he'd had a pretty shitty year in 2014.
"Hey," she smiled as she drew close enough that he would hear her, "where you headed? Back to school?" There was no reason not to try in talking to him more though. Even if he wasn't a party sort of guy, she wanted to know more about the guy. Mickey cared about him so damn much and still did. She wasn't going to pitch this really, because it sounded like things weren't just over. They were very over and even Lilie knew when to draw the line with meddling.
