Ade and Mickey
Instead of dressing up, Mickey had kept it simple for the evening. He'd dressed up in a black shirt, jeans with a chunky belt and tall-looking workman's shoes, shined to a midnight black. Around his neck, there was a thin necklace with a silver sea-star for a pendant. Mickey'd just ordered a beer when he spotted Adrian.
"Ade," Mickey said, wrapping an arm around the fairy's shoulder. "What's up? You're looking all dapper. Ready to do that thing - clap your hands if you feel like a room without a roof." Mickey had already done a song, though he hadn't taken off his shirt like promised. He'd shown off his stomach though. It'd been La Bamba. It could always use a little skin. "Drinking water? What's up with that?"
