Accidental Meetings (Alex & Leon)
Alex wasn't going to miss the party. James had been cool to him and given him plenty of places to put himself on stage. He was an alright guy, and if it was his birth/death day, they'd celebrate for as long as it took. He arrived to the party in a more subdued version of his usual style. In fact, he looked almost normal, only still Alex. He wore a suit and his blond hair was as combed as it could get but still kept something of an edge to it. He threw on some eyeliner to add to it, and his shoes kept with it. It was like he was dressed up but there were those little flares of style as well. Alex couldn't completely conform, it just wasn't who he was.
Seeing that the friends he made were already coming to the party, or at least invited, Alex didn't bring anyone with him. Anybody he wanted to see would already be there. The party was pretty chill compared to the ones that Alex was used to, but he didn't seem to mind. Not every party needed banging music, and this was a party for James, not a party for everyone else to be lured to for other reasons. The amulet he wore around his neck would prevent him from slipping into the spirit world should he fall asleep, not that he was counting on that happening, but Alex always took precautions at parties, especially if there was alcohol around. But it didn't make a difference as he needed an ID to pull it off, and no fake ID in the world would place him at 21.
Thems the breaks.
So he settled for some Red Bull, which would suffice for now and he carried the chill can in his left hand, occasionally taking sips as she moved around. He'd already deposited a gift for James on a table nearby. It was a Tag Heuer watch, which had cost his parents some money, but they made enough of it as it was that it wasn't something they'd complain about. Alex's DJ gear cost a lot more than some watch.
Spotting Davian, he started to make his way over there when he felt his shoulder smack into someone else. He turned to say, "Yo, sorry about that—" the word was cut off by only because Alex stopped. The person he'd run into was Leon.
