Caleb + Open
The music was loud. Caleb actually winced as soon as he stepped inside. Suddenly glad that he had parked his finally-finished car two blocks away. If the noise was any indication, anything within the immediate vicinity was going to get impounded.
Taking his time, Caleb assessed the rooms. The games looked fun, but the punch of alcohol hit him before Caleb was actually fully in the room. No, he wouldn't be partaking in that. His hopes were beginning to sink, but the siren decided that while Mickey raged, Caleb would be watchful, mindful, respectful and try to keep anyone from going to the ER.
Caleb felt gross just being there, but Mickey was his best friend, and who knew how often he'd see him once they both graduated. He forced himself to not judge anyone - blinders intact as he saw someone he knew stumbling around. They weren't at the school, so he really had no power there, but he would help if asked.
All and all, Caleb simply felt uncomfortable at the party and simply wanted to scream. He was so tired of being uncomfortable around others. He supposed it was his lot, and he'd just roll with it.
