Various Places — Lilie & Ashton
"Cha-cha is one of those dances that people do for competition," Lilie explained, "or if they are going out to something more formal. This isn't that sort of dance." That was clear not only from the music playing but the atmosphere. Yes, everyone was in a costume (well, most people), but the feel of it was certainly more relaxed and looser. Lilie had enough in her that made her body feel like she wanted to move. Her head half-bobbing to the steady rhythm of the song and then took Ashton by his hand, "If you can dance then we'll dance."
She raised his hand high in the air as they moved through the clumps of people there so it would be easier to get past them. As they drew closer to where people were dancing, she finally came to a stop, "Okay, dragon boy, show me what you got." But Lilie wasn't going to stand there and survey his dancing. No, she was going to dance as well, and hopefully he wouldn't be awkward about it.
But what did she know about dragons? Or Ashton for that matter?
Lilie began dancing. Her hips swaying and shoulders rolling as she moved to the music. On her own she wasn't a threat to Ashton, because she wasn't releasing any of those elf pheromones that would make Ashton ill. If there were another elf there, it'd probably end poorly for the dragon who apparently wasn't having that bad of a time.
