Games - Adrian and Open
It had been three in the morning the day of New Year's Eve when Adrian's plane touched down in Maine. The off hours and the time difference knocked the fae for a loop and he slept the entire cab ride back to St. Margaret's, then even longer once he got back into his dorm room. It wasn't until the afternoon that he was feeling more awake and at least functional-ish.
His trip home had been a whirlwind, his time in California busy with visiting with friends, family parties, and the slopes. Mexico had been more serious, as it tended to be. Immersion in fae culture, reminders ot the dangers his home tribe faced from deforestation by the humans. He learned a little more each time ot his tribes plans for him, and he never much liked what he heard. This time around, Adrian looked forward to returning to school and to the big party which would probably help him forget his worries, at least for a night.
It wasn't until he saw a fellow Ladon in the hallway, dressed tor the end of the world, that the fae remembered that the party had a theme. He did decide to make an effort, and didn't do bad at all making a last minute costume. Adrian was wearing one of his old underarmor shirts, a size too small now and very snug on his chest and shoulders. He shredded up he sleeves and the bottom half of the shirt, making it nearly a half-shirt, his tanned abdomen visible through the tears. He shredded the back too, for functionality, in case he decided to put out his wings, though it would be very unlikely he'd do that in a large group setting. His pants were likewise ripped up, more like shorts by the time he was done with them. His body underneath, chest, abdomen, back, arms and legs, were streaked with a realistic looking homemade fake blood made from caro syrup, flour, and food coloring. To complete the look, Ade mussed up his hair and was generous with the eyeliner under his eyes.
The fairy remembered the way to Mickey's aunt's house and had ended up sharing the walk with a few other people from his house. He reminisced to himself a little as they walked, remembering his first meeting Mickey at another party at the same house. He also remembered Mickey's very suggestive flirting the other week and wondered how the djinn was. At this point, Mickey'd undoubtedly had a worse past six months than Adrian, one bad turn after another. Ade didn't begrudge Mickey wanting to escape for a night, if that was what he was doing here. The house looked quite different, Adrian noticed, once they were there. Mickey had really decorated for the theme. Adrian started off with a few shots with his dormmates, then went his own way to explore. Not seeing any of the people he'd most hoped to see right away, Adrian found himself in the room where games were happening. He played a few rounds of poker, the losers of each round having to do a shot. He tired of that after a short while and drifted over to where another game was starting. A familiar game, a ring of participants and a bottle in the middle. Except there was also a spinner beside the bottle, the spinner able to point to different options, all various body parts, lips, neck, navel, and even more adventurous options. Ade smirked flirtatiously at the group as he squeezed in and sat down amongst them.
