Going Down: Mickey and James
"Harvard, really?" James asked, "My mentor was once a professor at Harvard before he became my tutor. Dr. Styles is his name. He'll go back to teach there again in a few decades, or so he claims." It was always tricky making people believe you aged or were the brother, cousin, son, of who they used to know. Dr. Styles was old and well practiced at pulling the trick.
"As for myself, if I choose not to go to Harvard, I fear my father will disown me," he joked. It had already almost happened when Mr. Weatherby found out his son was gay. "Brown is fine and all, but Rhode Island feels so isolated. Cambridge, New Haven... They're the more appealing options, location wise. So close to the City."
James looked at Mickey and smiled, "Perhaps we'll be classmates again some day."
