Audience: Xanthippe, Mickey, Ashton, & (OPEN)
"Stop acting foolish! This is not you." Ashton growled, watching Xanthippe tear down the tapestry. Had she known this was a dead end? Had the hallway somehow magically changed to trap her? Ashton didn't understand the school or its magic, but he was grateful for it.
Glancing at Mickey, he stepped closer to the Gorgon girl and reached out to touch her arm, prepared to draw his hand back if the snakes darted at him. "Come, you do not want to kill. You are better than the humans who hurt you." What he was saying, he didn't understand himself. He had every intention of getting revenge on the Dragonslayer who had murdered his parents and taken his hoard and sent him to this place. But somehow it made sense to say this to Xanthippe. She had been wronged so badly by the humans. Her dead snakes were testament to this. Each time he saw them, Ashton had anger boiling up inside of him and he didn't know how she had gone so long already without killing all the witches there. But she had. He had to talk her back into that place somehow.
"We will go back to your room and listen to radio and not speak of this again."
