When Daniel looked down at himself, so did Ashton, green eyes flicking over the naked skin of the were and realizing he must indeed be cold. The dragon's knowledge on human anatomy wasn't perfect, but some things were more obvious than others. "Yes, very well." He nodded, but cocked his head on something Daniel said, that he'd want to hunt.
Was the were a good hunter? Ashton wanted to assume he was, but at the same time didn't want to. He was a little bit envious, even as he wondered if he could show him how. "You're welcome. But..." Stepping towards Daniel when the were-eagle went to turn away, Ashton lifting his hand to stop him, he spoke, "Wait."
What was he going to say? Show me how to hunt? There was no way Ashton would lower his pride that much, not just to admit he didn't know how to a were, but that he would need said were to show him how. Ashton stood a little taller, pushing his shoulders back, chin tilted up. He was a dragon. Apex predator. He should know all about hunting and being a mighty fearsome beast. But he didn't. He would have if his sire and dam hadn't been slain before he hatched.
"If you do get permission to hunt, I will-- I want--" Ashton scowled, brows furrowing and he shook his head sharply. "Never mind."
