Adrian was not the only one who had not done their part in communication between the two of them. Bushara had been caught up in a number of her own problems. Some of them were becoming less important to her, such as her feelings for Ambriel and Sara; on the other hand, a few of her problems had only worsened. She had also become more involved with Alicia since Adrian had left and then not really spoken to her. Tonight she was planning on telling Adrian about Alicia, but she was not incredibly optimistic about how he would take the information. It seemed as though everyone she had desired with the exception of Alicia was not willing to share her love with others. It was understandable to some extent, but she simply did not understand why everyone seemed to take a high school relationship so seriously. Sure she loved all of the people she sought after, but she also was aware that high school romances were not often carried through a lifetime. In many of the cases at this particular school, that was especially true since lifetimes were often hundreds of years.
Then there was the fact that her ring was in the hands of a sociopath. He had the power to order her around to do anything he wanted. So far Andrei had simply been annoying her by forcing her to do tricks every now and then. While he wasn't ordering her to do anything too taxing she had the time to work on a plan. The only problem was the way he commanded her to not tell anyone about him having the ring. It was annoying, but it was causing her to purposely screw up any plans she may have. She had managed to let a few facts slip out to Alicia, but she couldn't allow herself to do any more than that since any plan to get someone pointed in the right direction she came up with, she would have to thwart immediately. She doubted Andrei even realizes how trapped his phrasing had made her, but it didn't matter.
She followed Adrian into the hotel, not truly bothered by the cold since the body of a djinni was often warmer than a human's. She wore a dark violet turtleneck along with a pair of black skirt pants that fell to her ankles. Her hair was up in a braided bun. She was glad to leave the campus for a little while. Lately any chance to not have to be anywhere near Andrei was welcome. "That sounds splendid," she smiled as she followed the fairy into the hotel. "Thank you."
