Rob & Caleb
"Rob," Caleb said, barely above a whisper. His eyes were wide and they shined. He hated that the shined. The spirits were up and out. The spirits got release. The warlock had said that Caleb's mother was trapped in the tide, like all sirens, like one day he would be. Caleb turned his eyes up to the sky and finally managed to take a breath. It was actually starting to hurt how long he hadn't taken a sip of the air.
While not reaching out to the giant or in any other way showing weakness, Caleb just needed an anchor so he could find his legs and begin to walk. He just wished they would start working.
