Ambriel blinked. And then blinked again. Because seriously, he was not really getting any of this. Beauty was in the eye of the beholder? How did that work? Things were beautiful or they weren't, and there wasn't really any middle ground between that. And then Alex gave some more examples that made even less sense.
"But," he said, "I am an angel. I mean, I'm an angel everywhere, not just to believers. It's like God. Even when people don't believe in Him, He's around me, inside me and in His holy kingdom. Why would I stop being an angel simply because someone does not believe in me? I do not change."
Ambriel gave a dismissive gesture with his hand. "Your arguments sounds smart, but it makes no sense."
