Who: Adina & Ambriel What: A visit Where: The infirmary When: (backdated) October 2ns, before dinner Rating: TBD
Adina still wasn't exactly sure about the school...being kidnapped and tortured a few days after you arrive doesn't exactly instill confidence that this was a safe place. But it's one redeeming feature she guessed was that the students there....them and the library of course. But her faith in the student body and the teachers had grown. The rescue. Different races coming together for a common goal. They were all very brave. They could have died and even though they knew the risks...they came anyway. She was so shocked she had no idea what to say. She was so sure that this...warlock...had hidden them so well they'd never find them so they'd stop looking...why bother right? But they never stopped, they looked for them and fought for them. Just like she knew Aiden and Dobz would do for her back home. While she did still miss them...she realized that St. Margaret's was starting to remind her a lot of home and slowly but surely was starting to feel that way.
Part of making it feel more like home was forming connections...friends. Back with Aiden most of his wards were older...or looked older than her and Dobz. So her cousin had been her only friend, the only one she could really relate with. St. Margaret's was different. Everyone was around her age. They all could relate, maybe not on the same nymph level since no one but the teachers knew and she was wanting it to stay that way. But they could relate on the everyday woes of being a teenager. Hormones, school, homework....boys. That caused her concern. Like she said her best friend was a boy but...family. Now she was surrounded by so many boys...all her age and...not family. It caused her heart to race in a way she knew...not excitement...but fear...utter terror. Her only somewhat sexual encounter was when Vincent pursued her relentlessly for weeks trying to get another taste of her blood. It doesn't need to be said that it caused her to be somewhat wary of the opposite sex.
Which considering where she was going now strange. Adina was going to visit one of her rescuers who had gotten injured in the rescue. Ambriel...an angel...a boy. Despite her wariness of boys the temptation to talk to and question a real live angel was far too tempting. Imagine how proud Aiden would be...even him in his vast age had probably never met an angel. She had the crossword book and her spiral notebook in her hands as she took a breath and entered the infirmary. He wasn't hard to find, and she stepped closer to him,
"Is now still a good time?" She held out the book, "As promised."
