Ambriel didn't know why it always had to be this way with them. On the one hand, he liked the demon, for some reason he couldn't fathom. And he also wanted to punch the demon, for reasons he could fathom very well. Every time the angel thought he'd gotten through to the demon, Davian did something to upset him and then it felt like they were back where they came from.
It was an unfortunate situation. Davian was the only one who made Ambriel feel as if he would benefit from knowing more curse-words to express his anger.
He wanted to cross his arms, but he couldn't. Instead, he gave Davian a cold, haughty look, before turned on to his side, showing the demon his back.
