"Then why do you act like this is what you want?" she retorted, "I have spent all my life being afraid of who I am." She turned away from Davian not in the mood to let him see more of her tears. "Or rather what I am. I even drugged myself for the longest time to force myself to be emotionless. Do you know what it's like to not be able to feel happy for fear you'll set the whole building on fire? I couldn't even be angry about it because if I did," she ripped a sheet of paper out of the new sketch book turned to him a fierce look on her face as the page lit up in flames. She then smothered it within her palm.
"Just leave me alone, please," she said, turning back away from him, her fiery ears appearing as she used the heat to rid herself of the tears she had stupidly been shedding for the guy she was obviously more wrong about than she could have expected. "Go back to the closet or whatever," she turned to a clean page and grabbed a random pencil nearby to begin drawing, "Sorry I bother you so much."
