When she recognized who it was, whether from his yelling or from his appearance, she felt horrible. "I'm sorry," she told him immediately. She then drew whatever fire was left back to her so that it wouldn't catch anything on fire, "I just..." she shook her head as she finished the statement in her head and thinking it was the dumbest thing ever. She just thought he was a stone sentinel or the warlock or something coming back to take her away again. Of course that wasn't the case. They were back. The nightmare was over.
She tried to will her ears away, but unfortunately she was too racked with nerves, guilt and still a bit of adrenaline, and the ears just wouldn't fade for the moment. "Are you alright?" She approached hesitantly. The last time she saw him was when he was cowering from Ashton. When she sent that fire at him, she saw it for only a moment, but he began to look like he had back then. This thought, of course, made her feel even worse. She didn't want people to be afraid of her. That was actually the opposite of what she wanted actually.
