Matt listened quietly as Teddy spoke, worried with how his brother sounded. Not at all like himself. Sure he was a shy kid, but he'd never been this... reserved in the past. Coming to grips with being different was difficult, Matt knew that, but this school, it was hard going, but not that bad.
"Please," he said with a roll of his eyes. "You're like ridiculously smart. Genius even." He pushed away and came to join Teddy on the bed, giving his brother a nudge. "I find it hard to believe that you're struggling with the work." He pursed his lips and then looped an arm around Teddy's shoulders. "And as for the magic, why don't you talk to the other magic users? Or Miss Menides? I'm sure she could point you in the direction of a good mentor or... whatever."
He dropped an affectionate kiss on Teddy's hair. "Besides, you have me."
