Teddy watched Matt fiddling with the rubix cube. He'd taught Matt the formula once, how you could always make it work in like, twenty moves, but his brother had probably forgotten it. Though he just sat quietly and watched as Matt fiddled. He managed to get one side which was pretty neat.
"Just don't like it," he offered honestly, he felt like he didn't have many friends and he was too shy to go out and meet new people, way too nervous to just put himself out there. Besides, aside from Felix he hadn't met that many people and he was really confused because people who were meant to be in his year and his classes... weren't. And most of the people he had met totally preferred hanging out with other people because they were more fun than Teddy.
He shrugged. "Guess so. I just wanna go home. I don't like it here." He looked off to the side, "And the essays we have to write are really hard. I feel like I've missed loads 'cause I've come in towards the end of the school year. And I've not got any classes that actually teach me about magic or how to use it. Which is frustrating. Cause I wanna learn more but- But I don't wanna just do spells, you know? In case I get them wrong."
He lifted his shoulders again. "But it's not a big deal. You said it gets better. Or easier, or whatever. So I guess I just gotta hold out."
