cressida/micah: first aid area
Cressida took the last bit of the ointment into her hands, smoothing it over the lower portion of Micah's wound. The skin was already stitching itself back together, and in a couple of hours or so it would leave a scar. It helped that the spell was likely working along with his were healing abilities to make quick work of the wound. She adjusted some of the extra potion to some other scratches and injuries that weren't so minor but not so severe. She looked at him and nodded, "I just hope that they don't feel the continual need to learn by risking themselves." Had there been more planning, more coordination, she might not have been so hard. And maybe she was irritated that they found themselves more capable than the staff.
"It is handled though," she commented, "and thankfully, over." She seemed resolute that it was over indeed, though she knew it wasn't. Not yet. What the students who were trapped experience would be something they carried with them for a long time, possibly the rest of their lives. She knew that those in her house would wish to handle it on their own, and she knew that some could, but others caused her concern.
Bringing her hand back, she took a dry towel from nearby and wiped the remnants of the spell from her fingers. Cressida didn't have the same heightened senses as Micah, but she was aware of the contours his muscled form. She wasn't a sexless creature, but after her engagement came to end, she sort of put herself into her education, and in turn, felt she'd grow stronger in her faith through the experience. Not many of the staff, she found, were that interested in mundane education like science, so for someone who had studied it, she welcomed his conversation more than others.
"What sort of magic did you do before you before you contracted the virus?" she asked, curious enough now to ask aloud. She'd heard things as he'd left St. Margaret's before she arrived there as a student, but hearing things and knowing exactly what they might be were two entirely different things.
