cressida/micah: first aid area
In the quiet moments, Cressida pondered the actions taken by the students. Foolhardy and arrogant, and she was irritated, but not really all that surprised to see Hydra students involved. So independent, yet they walked in blindly in this idea that they could overcome it all. She excused it on youth, and independence she encouraged, as her own leaders within Hydra had when she was a student there. However, there was a need for caution and she would have a word with a couple of them. Barclay, at least, showed some sense of restraint, though his involvement had her wish she could shake some sense into him. Ambriel, well, no surprise at all.
She sometimes displayed that arrogance as well though. Her way of thanking Kaden for helping wasn't said in the most traditional of ways, but at least he got her meaning enough, as he went on to speak as any Ladon would. "A light show is easy," Cressida said, "big and flashy is what most people want anyway. I am merely being what I am, and it's disappointing to hear that some of my kind feel the need for theatrics. I do appreciate the compliment you intend though." It was a compliment, and yes, it did make her feel flattered.
"Perhaps they are lucky," she added, "though they are not so keen at listening. They will in their own way. Sometimes they need to touch the kettle in order to learn. Although—" she looked up at Kaden with a small crease of concern, "I do believe some may walk away from this not learning anything and believing they could have done this without us."
