"Owwwwch," Sara hissed, wincing in sympathy and laid a hand on his shoulder, the non-broken side. Judging by his reaction, the girl could tell that Daniel was not enjoying being laid up at all. He looked pretty athletic - what with his clothes and the fact that, to Sara's wandering eye, his shirt was tight enough to show off some to-die-for muscle definition underneath.
Sara's hand on Daniel's shoulder gave a small caress, and she hoped it came off as her offering comfort, but still she was noting his strong arm at the same time. Stop it! She scolded herself internally. School was just now starting again and she was already crushing on another boy?
"Sorry," she blushed, removing her hand and ducking her head some, brushing hair back behind her ears yet again. "Um, when you get it off, what's the first thing you're going to do?" Offering a smile, overcoming her own burst of bashfulness, Sara looked up at Daniel again, scooting ahead when the line moved.
