Her snakes spotted him before she did, several of them rising to gaze at him before her head turned in kind. A little uncanny, but at least the face was smiling. Even if the teeth were just a little too sharp-looking. "Yes, I am Xanthippe," she said, pronouncing it ksahn-THEE-pay. She had a lovely voice, and some sort of exotic accent in her speech.
"I was hoping you would find me. I forgot to ask what you looked like." Xanthippe glanced around the room, starting to fill with students. "Do you know how it works, the food stations? If so, then I will get my food and meet you at the tables. If not, I can guide you."
