Who: Kana and Sara
What: Comforting friends
Where: Kana's new room in the castle
When: A few days after the fire
Kana had not gotten dressed pretty much ever since she got to her new room. She had told her boss she was sick, and she had been avoiding everyone as though she had put herself on a kind of quarantine. She had her own bathroom in her new room, all be it an extremely small bathroom, and she hadn't felt like eating lately. Honestly, if it weren't for the mandatory sessions with Mr. Dallas, she wouldn't leave her room at all. Even if she weren't feeling guilty, the simple fact that all of her clothes (save for the ones she had stored at her work for the art fair) had been destroyed in the fire was enough to cause her to just not want to ever leave again. Kana had made a few new sketches in a new sketchbook given to her by her art teacher as a way of cheering the girl up, but she just wasn't really in the mood for anything really.
On top of everything else, Sara was coming over. She still couldn't get the image of Sara burning in her dream out of her head. Not to mention the fact that her causing the fire has made it to where she only sleeps for short periods of time, setting an alarm to wake her so the same thing wouldn't happen. She only ate when forced to, and now she had to face her best friend. The same one who had died in everyone of her dreams for the past week.
Her new room had stone floors, walls, and ceiling which had all been enchanted with some sort of water spell should the temperature rise over a certain degree. Her room was clean save for a few sketches and pastels on her bed. The main reason for it's cleanly state was due to the lack of anything of hers left. She looked into an almost bare chest of drawers. A few plain shirts provided to her by the school were all that lay there. She put one on, black, then found some jeans she had also received to put on. A side glance in a mirror told her she didn't want to look at herself, and then she simply waited for her friend on her bed.
