Who: Claire & Ms. Edouard What: Girl talk When: August 3rd, late afternoon Where: Ms. Edouard's residence Rating: TBD
While Claire was nervous about telling a teacher about her feelings for Mr. Kaden she needed advice on how to handle that. She and her mom had a pretty open relationship but she was too embarrassed to tell her. She remembered her mother's reaction to how she acted in heat this last time. She had sounded so disappointed on the phone. If she told her about how she kissed Mr. Kaden she feared her mother would think it was happening again and they'd take her out of school to bring her back home. St. Margaret's was the only place for her, the only place where she could get control over her visions. Also...Doyle needed her. She needed to be here for him if nothing else. And the though of leaving Mr. Kaden...never seeing him again....it caused her heart to ache in a way she had never felt before.
Claire mentally kicked herself, stop it...he's a teacher, you're his student, nothing can happen...stop dreaming about it. You'll never be more to him. She swiped her eyes quickly to get rid of the tears before they fell. She needed advice on how to get over it, move on, not be constantly fawning over and fantasizing about a future with someone who was completely off limits to her. Ms. Edouard seemed like the best option. Sure she was dating her sort of uncle which is why she made sure to make her swear not to tell anyone. She loved her uncle but he couldn't keep a secret to save his life. Well...when it came to something involving Doyle and her. But anyway, Ms. Edouard had a youthful spirit and probably remembers what it's like. She'd understand and give her words of comfort and advise her what to do.
Once she spotted the residence her heart started to race as her stomach jumped. Was she making a horrible choice. What if she blabbed to Mr. Kaden or worse...Ms. Menides. She respected Ms. Menides more than anything and would hate if she found out. She would be so disappointed in her and she hated to disappoint her. No...she trusted her enough. She took a deep breath and knocked on the door.
