Ms. Stheno was a firm believer in discipline, silence and structure. She didn't like children; she liked books. She believed the library would be a far better place without the students and their grubby hands. She realized an Academy probably needed young minds around to mold, but they really need her books for that?
As such, her summer class was a dull and serious affair that had frightened off some of her the more lively students. Nevertheless, she primly accepted a cookie from Sara and took a careful nibble.
Her face showed no reaction. When she turned towards the blackboard, however, she permitted herself a tiny smile.
