Some Reality Connection

Hello, hello! Some of you know I've wanted to play Percy Jackson for years. The problem is I haven't read the books in a very long time, no longer own the original series, and don't really have time to reread all those books. I started writing a bio for him and became overwhelmed, thinking I don't know the source material well enough. I think I may have a compromise. I'm considering taking him from movie!verse because I can easily re-watch those, which should make me feel better about playing the character, but it also doesn't negate anything in the books (does that make sense?). I also sort of wanted to take him from the play version since I like the idea of playing a character who randomly bursts into song and dance, but he'd be really young then (even though the actors in the play are not).

I have random thoughts here. I thought it might help to plot not only with his canon mates, but potentials here.

Hi, this is Lena and I've been casually for awhile thinking about picking up Annabeth Chase >.>

I haven't read past Heroes of Olympus, so she wouldn't be from any later than the end of that series. I'd ask that no one spoil her or me for the events of later books that I DO want to read one day if/when I get my hands on them, so if that's a dealbreaker for anyone, please let me know.
