[FF7: Lucrecia Crescent] Looking For Water
Album: "Reality" by David Bowie Claim: Lucrecia Crescent Characters: Lucrecia, random OC (again) Rating: PG Summary: And now a few words on utilitarianism. Notes: No lyrics within, I'm taking the "inspired by" card this time.
Lucrecia liked to eat lunch in the student art gallery.
Most of the works were awful, ugly, and immature. Sometimes there was a good one. But it was quiet here, and even in a skirt, like she was in today now that she'd finally gotten one, she would be left alone. When her nutritiously balanced lunch was consumed, she realized she had enough time to lay out on the single bench they had in the middle of the gallery.
"It's a shame that room is prettier than the works," a young man said, standing, staring up at the ceiling with her. She didn't move.
"You don't need art anyway, when you've got a good foundation. The rest is fluff."
"I hope you don't hold that philosophy for all your work."
She craned her neck to look at him better, but he was walking out, disturbing her silence with his retreating footfalls. Just another art student. Lucrecia shifted and let the air-conditioning turn back into static noise.
Lucrecia would take a slightly cold empty place to the streets of Midgar any day.
