PB: Elizabeth Gillies
Team: Bravo
Role: Infiltration #3
Codename: Siren

Powers:

VOCAL-INDUCED PERSUASION

If you've seen Jessica Jones on Netflix, then you probably have a good idea what Siren can do. It's basically a super flunked up version of Simon Says: if she says it, you do it. And not only that, you may or may not want to do it. Even if she were to tell you to jump off the brooklyn bridge, while the back of your mind might be telling you it's a stupid idea, the rest of you - your stomach, your heart, every urge in your body will be screaming at you to do exactly as she says.

Thankfully, that's a super extreme example. She did tell someone to go play in traffic soon after her abilities manifested and suffice to say, it didn't go so well. Vanessa was wracked with guilt, immediately turning herself into the authorities. Her father, a Congressman, wasn't even powerful to stop her incarceration, based on the extremity of her ability. Upon being taken under Ghost Corp's wing, she was outfitted with a device that disables the majority of her voicebox. She can make sounds, but cannot form words. And that is just fine with her. She'd be too terrified to speak while not on a mission anyway.

INTUITIVE OUTBOUND TELEPATHY
Her second ability is damn useful, all things considered. She is able to allow other people to read her thoughts at will. More specifically, she will insert her thoughts into the other person's mind, like hearing her voice in your head.

Siren doesn't use her second ability unless absolutely necessary, essentially 'speaking' when spoken to and is understandably a bit withdrawn after accidentally making her philandering ex BF off himself. If she's tired or lazy or has a headache, she may even resort to writing out what she wants to say (emojis and all, you know how it is.)

Give me all of the things, please! :]

They're not on the same team, Maelstrom here is with team Foxtrot, but they are housed on the same sub-basement floor. Maelstrom can have been assigned to Siren's team once or twice, which could be how they might know each other.

^Likewise to that, [info]thereaper is a Foxtrot, on the same floor, may have done a mission or two together, etc. She'll be understanding and supportive of Siren's, ahem, issues, even if she's dying on the inside to get a look at that brain and voice box...

Soooo, hi roommate?

I actually think they could get along really well, considering their respective powers. Charlie's primary is enhanced hearing, so rooming with someone who's mute would honestly be a relief for him! And he's probably used his secondary power, to temporarily make someone else completely inaudible to the world around them, on her when they're in the field if she thinks it's necessary.

Helloooo! Wonderful, I was hoping the roomie would come along!

She would LOVE IT if no one could hear her voice for awhile, because sometimes Nessie misses the sound of her own voice, haha. :[ She's very quiet and considerate, an overall excellent roommate.

Aww Nessie, he'll do it for her whenever she asks! It only lasts for an hour at a time and doesn't leave him feeling the greatest, but Charlie's a big old softie wrapped up in one grumpy package. He doesn't keep his belongings especially tidy, but aside from that little bit of mess he'd try to be a good roomie.

She'd tidy for him in exchange for getting to talk sometimes! :]

Who is Infiltration #1 on Bravo. He has only been out of the Graveyard for a month or two, so he's a relatively new teammate with a pretty bloody reputation: he was brought in after killing one of the Ghost Corps' handlers, which made him the talk of the base for a little while when he first transferred from prison to the Graveyard. He would've been hugely shocked the first time he heard Siren's voice in his head, and it would have made him a little shifty around her until he was confident she couldn't in fact read his thoughts. Nick is a murderously private person. Other than that, he would be charming and friendly around Siren because acting like he's not a serial killer is part of his game.

This is terrible, but that makes Who want to interact with her even more. :/ He'll be all smiles and kindness and baffled confusion if she acts afraid of him while he's around.
