Powers:

GENETIC MANIPULATION

Blood Manipulation: This is the closest thing he has to a primary, given how many uses he's found for it. Ingestion or absorption of blood can be directed to heal himself and any damage done to his dermal armor, but he's wholly unable to heal anyone else. He can draw blood out of a person's body (or his own) and use it as a weapon by crystallizing it into a solid, sharp form. Other fun tidbits like causing pain and blood clots and generally prompting medical emergencies are possible, but he takes that route less often. In dire circumstances, he can actually manipulate blood to physically move people like a marionette, but that takes an enormous amount of energy and concentration so you won't see him doing it much.

Dermal Armor: He can alter the structure of his skin, nails, hair, and feathers to become any organic substance. Diamond, chitin, enamel, etc they're all fair game but something like steel is out of the picture.

WINGS

Large, white feathered wings - following the trend in some birds, his wingspan, wingtip to wingtip, is roughly three times his height - about 18 feet. They fold up fairly compactly along his back, but he has very little hope of passing for normal because they do not fit comfortably under average clothing. If he ever wants to look completely human, someone would need to cast an illusion for him or something along those lines. The most obvious use for his wings is flight but he also likes to use them to shield teammates and others.

So basically, if you've ever wanted a creepy angel person to protect you and maybe politely request to drink your blood, you're in luck.

More generally, he was recruited about 9 years ago (as was his husband), really wishes he were just a normal person but pours aaaaall of that bitterness into training obsessively, and I'm thinking that the aforementioned husband died a mission awhile back, but I'm not positive. He's got the older brother role down, so advice and generally cutting remarks are pretty much guaranteed as are casually raised eyebrows and silent judgment. So lines?

	He was Alpha before but you snooze you lose and all that, so he's going to be Echo! Which was really one of my first choices anyway. Nelson is very :\| about the whole vampire business but I mean. LOL I'm sure he grumbles about it, but good-naturedly because he's kind of come to terms with the fact that yeah, vampire powers.

Nelson's pretty difficult to scare anyway, buuuut also not always the easiest to get to know himself, because he tends to deflect. Also, he probably feels some sympathy, wanted or unwanted, for her with a power like disintegration? Like it's bad enough to have wings and drink blood, but that's all pretty much surface.

I'd love for Backlash and Frameshift to be buddies, even if they aren't on the same team anymore. They can still train together and drink together, if nothing else!

whosthere wants a blood blade and he is willing to do all manner of non-sexual things to get it. Including letting Frameshift have some of his blood lol? If the blood blades stay crystallized out of Frameshift's hands, that is.

gorgonn is the young new member of Echo who will probably interact with Frameshift more in Inferno at first than anywhere else. She'll come around, but right now she's passively resisting her new situation and not being very chatty. Or, um, friendly when she is chatty.

pixieled is a new transfer to Romeo who has been in the program since she was old enough to be there. She strongly believes that supers need to be controlled for the good of everyone else, and is totally happy to be where she is. They are wing buddies and should team up for flights in Inferno sometimes!

Yessss, tank buddies! I agree with this. Frameshift is really devoted to his training because, well, he's a hopeless overachiever like that.

You know, I've never spent any time thinking about how long it stays crystallized - he uses blood knives as projectiles more often than not, so it has to stay that way for awhile without his concentration.

Well, he feels that, honestly. He was pretty resentful when he first showed up here. More at the world at large than at the program itself but still. He was extra prickly and ill-tempered, so he would for sure give her some space for awhile.

Yes!! That would be perfect. And, in theory, he believes the same on some level, even if he wishes he weren't a super himself. Like you can't just have assholes out there draining people of blood with their mind for funsies.

This character seems really awesome! I have Dean, who's a handler from Alpha,

sirenslure who is on Romeo now and

pleasureandpain, who is on foxtrot.

sirenslure can control people with her voice, so because of this she doesn't speak but she does have the ability to let other people hear her thoughts so she technically doesn't need to. Nessie is really sweet and fragile, doesn't draw much attention to herself and is very warm.

pleasureandpain just made a plot post here if you want to check it out because I'm lazy, haha.

Ah, thank you! Frameshift was originally going to be on Alpha but that got switched up. (And the dude with angel wings being on Echo makes sense in my head tbh)

Omg, she's precious. And she's the age of one of his rl bb sisters so he probably just wants to protect her.

Both of her powers are so awesome! (What a cool way to have power bestowal work, augh.) Idk what we can figure for them, but they probably need a line! Because I am greedy and want all the lines.

I was thinking about it! For that to work I think he would have had to have started in another role and shifted into Tank later.

Frameshift would older brother her for sure (is that a thing? like mothering someone? idk, idk)

Then she and Nelson should get acquainted! He's... well, yeah, a wet blanket and pretty boring so I can't imagine who would want to get to know him but. Here we are. XD

Livewire here volunteers to let him suck her blood because why not? Expect some sort of pickup line about him falling from Heaven. And/or a lewd comment related to his blood sucking abilities. I'm sorry in advance for her.

Medic

needamedic is a fellow Echo, the healer, and has been in the program (though not necessarily on Echo specifically) for 26 years now. He's likewise bitter about their predicament, and the only thing that keeps him doing his job is that people could die/stay dead if he didn't. They can be resentful of the program together! Plus, y'know, GoT faces. ♥

Reaper

thereaper is my Foxtrot, raises the dead, would be fascinated in studying some of his blood constructs because creepy stuff doesn't creep her out at all. She'd also love to see him make some of her dead people move via their blood, if he can, just for curiosity's sake.

Blitz

smoothasglass would be happy to drink with him and encourage him to just enjoy what he can about their predicament, while occasionally grumbling about the lack of fresh air and being cooped up underground. They live on the same floor, so they'll know each other!

And Leah

steelyeyed is sad that he's not her tank, but quietly approves of his training regimen (and I say silently because she's not much for expressing approval out loud).

Okay but I kind of love her already. And Frameshift probably gives her a lot of disapproving :| looks because it's what he's good at. But won't turn down blood if the situation is dire enough lbr.

Yessssss team members. Let them sit around and be bitter together. (Frameshift is mostly resentful because he has to be a part of the program. Why couldn't his life have been normal??? But yeah he's got a pretty deep sense of responsibility and wants to protect people soooo.)

I love Reaper too and like Frameshift would appreciate that in some odd way? He feels like his powers are weird and creepy so there's something nice about someone NOT finding his blood powers completely gross. (He totally can move newly dead people but it gets harder the longer their dead because the blood doesn't want to cooperate. :/ )

Hooray! And Frameshift is trying, man, he's trying. But he's kind of a sad sack nowadays after his husband kicked the bucket. (I'm leaning toward that being a thing.)

Frameshift wants a handler and she's no-nonsense enough that he kiiiinda wishes she were his handler.
