"Warmer than it is out there." He set the canvas down and moved around the bed behind her. He tugged up the sides of the blankets on the bed so that they could drape on her shoulders. "And I guess that would depend on how cold it gets. Can't exactly bring the horse inside, now can I?"
Her correcting him was a little bit of a surprise. "Knew they couldn't have spirits, didn't know anything about coffee." He glanced down at the box. He wasn't one to turn down a biscuit. It was just a shame he didn't have any honey to go with it. "I've been told I'm an insufferable ass on more than one occasion." He dipped his head at her as he opened the box and took one of the offerings.
