There were still some memories in the back of her mind from the alternate reality she'd found herself in after her second jump in time an space, where she'd had a stepfather who'd treated her like a princess. It had been wonderful, until she'd realized that alternate her had been nothing more than a pretty airhead groomed to be a trophy wife and nothing more, a possession. She was damned if any of her girls would be that way, and judging from the ones that had come back from the future it seemed to have worked. Even Juliet, her happy bubbly blonde bombshell, had a working brain and acted accordingly.
