The man only shook his head and was as down trodden as ever. It took everything in his power not to pull from Sif in that acknowledgement, to not go collapse on his chair in defeat.
"I saw mother," Thor confessed. "And I cannot allow Loki or Katherine to see her. I see our comrades. I let them die and now they are here because I couldn't save them." He made a face, jaw clenched, and he reeled. He felt dazed and the world closed in on him.
"I did nothing!" He shout with rage, voice booming like the thunder that cracked in the sky. "It was a sacrifice of war I allowed! Now there is an army of Asgardians lost from the heavens!"
