Sif had also shed her armor in favor of a dress much more fitting of the occasion of their homecoming, but as the length of their stay increased, it became more than obvious her companion had more on his mind than simple nostalgia for being home. It had become especially noticeable since she returned from a visit with her brother- their catch-up conversation had been lengthy, but certainly not enough to send Thor into this sort of fit.
She almost stopped him and demanded he come out with it, whatever it was eating him from the inside out, when she noticed his shoulder was no longer aside from her own. He'd fallen behind, and when she turned to inquire, found him...

By Odin her heart flipped, and the sweet Asgardian air in her lungs evaporated in a blink. And the fraction of a moment later when the realization of exactly why he'd been so unsettled brightened her eyes, the hint of an ages-old smile tugged at her lips.
"My Lord," she responded formally, her brows upswept, happy and expectant.
