Elizabeth stood in front of Jason's apartment door nervously. She really couldn't remember getting this worked up over a guy. The nerves felt as if she were walking through the door to sit a test.
She donned a simple white dress and a pair of heels. In her left arm, she cradled a bottle of Jason's favourite whiskey, and with the other, she gently knocked on his door.

	Jason set the table carefully, wishing he had flowers or candles, or anything to make it more romantic. He looked over at the door when he heard it knock and ran a hand through his hair before answering. "Hey." He said, wishing he had dressed up in more than jeans and a t-shirt. "You look beautiful." Her cheeks pinked and she looked at the floor for a second, suddenly overcome with shyness. "Thank you." She bit her lip and gave herself a silent pep talk. Elizabeth had to be a little stronger than this but it had felt like it had been months since he held her last. She had missed him so much.

She lifted her eyes to his once she mustered the courage. "I know how much you like this." She held the bottle out to him. "For you."
