Jacob had been dropped off with the ladies that had been watching the kids while the adults were off doing adult things. While Jacob usually didn't mind hanging out at the daycare as there were things to do and robots to build, well at least the one robot that Rarity brought him one afternoon but this particular afternoon, Jacob was starting to get bored.
Jacob had heard fellow residents talking about a door that lead them to a different place and a different time. Naturally, when Jacob heard about this, his interest was peaked and he wanted to check it out.
Knowing that the door was somewhere in Stark tower, Jacob waited for his temporary caregivers to have their attention divided on someone else before managing to sneak away unnoticed to go find the coveted door. Once he found the door, he took a deep breath and pushed his way through the door and took a step into a ruined Manhattan and began to wonder the streets, looking at the mess, both fascinated and scared.
Out of the corner of his eye, he spotted one of the worm-like aliens lying on the ground and he approached it cautiously and studied it. He wanted to touch it but he was afraid to. What if the thing came alive if he poked it?! Still, Jacob was content to study the thing for a bit before he moved on and started down the street.
Jacob didn't know how long he was exploring but when he realized that he should probably get back before anyone noticed that he was missing, he turned to start making his way back to the door only to find that he had a big problem. He was lost.
“Uh oh.” Jacob said out loud as he started to truly feel afraid for the first time since he walked through the door. Trying not to panic, Jacob started moving in the direction that he thought he had taken, only to find himself in areas that he did not recognize from before. He was doing nothing more than getting himself even more lost and more scared.
