Hansel had been a little confused by the text he received from Sophia, but he was definitely going. She asked and he came, that's the way it always worked. So he left a note for the various people in the apartment, which had now grown to being a total of five people, six if you counted Marian's unborn child. It was getting crowded so he didn't mind getting out of the house at all.

Rather than wearing his normal leather clothing, he decided to go with a simple green t-shirt and some jean shorts that hung to his knees along with some high tops he'd found that he really liked. He didn't look like a kid from the 1800's and that was the point. He got to the tree house and climbed the ladder, knocking lightly on the frame of the opening.

"Permission to enter?" He chuckled softly.

	He nodded. "I think that would be okay. But no nuts. I don't like nuts." He made a face. "But just regular brownies would be good." He nodded. "Gretel's are the only brownies I've had so that's why I like hers." He chuckled softly. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Hansel tilted his head as he thought about it, the tip of his tongue sticking out of the corner of his mouth just a little bit.

"Um...I had some cherries one time. They were really good. Don't get a lot of stuff like that back home, but this lady that was letting us stay with her had gotten some as a special present. We helped save her daughter and she didn't have any money, but she let us have some of the cherries." He nodded.

Sophia eased her phone out of her pocket, as he thought, and quickly snapped a picture of his tongue peeking out from between his lips. Giggling after she did.

"Oh! Cherries are easy. So do you think fruit would be safe? Like pies and things?" She wasn't sure why but this excited her. She wanted to be able to make things for him. And she was sure she could with George's help.

	"Not ever? Oh gosh it's real good, it's made with... Um... Milk and sugar, and um.. It's cold. Real cold." She didn't honestly know what it was made of really just that it was sweet. "But it's not fluffy liked whipped cream, it's.. Kinda hard to describe." (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	Sophia sucked her lower lip between her teeth. "Do you want to, maybe, go get some? I think George has some homemade in the freezer?" It would mean she'd get to hold his hand somewhere besides the treehouse. Oddly. She found this a very exciting prospect. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
