Who: Bryn and Edward
Where: Wheel 2 docking bay
What: Cuuute stuff
When: Around lunch time.
Rating: there will be fluff.
Open: to Jacob
Status: On going

It had crept along lunch time, and when he didn't come back to the apartment, Bryn had assumed Edward forgot about eating. Being the dutiful partner she was, she packed some sandwiches some drinks, and a few snacks in a basket, and carried it down to where the ships were docked.

When the doors parted with a hiss, she looked for obvious signs of where her pirate-y lover was exactly. It wasn't easy, he didn't leave tracks. "Edward?" She called out softly in her gentle Norse brogue.

She hadn't only come prepared to be a feast for his, no doubt, growling stomach, she'd come prepared to be one for his eyes. Black plasteel boots that laced up to her knees, paired with a simple tight fitting body-con black dress that covered her to mid-thigh. Her long ginger curls free, and makeup light.

Already, once they got out of the cargo bay, the ship was not what she expected. It was more homey than she envisioned. Her fingers tightened around his when he asked his question. "Lets go to the kitchen first." In her mind that was always the heart of the home, and while she knew a lot about engines, they had fascinated her since they were first brought into the world, she was quite sure the engine for this machine was quite different than what she'd explored.

It would also give her a chance to sit the basket down, and an ideal place to have the meal she'd prepared. Bryn diverted her attention from the corridor to his face. Was that a little bit of pride she saw there? "Already it is not as intimidating as the outside is."

"I'm glad" he replied to her when she mentioned how much less intimidating it seemed on the inside. He wanted the ship to feel like another home. A place where he could be comfortable, as well as anyone else who came aboard.

Edward led her toward the kitchen. It looked like a fairly ordinary kitchen, save for the more high tech gadgets. There was a cooker of sorts but more high tech, along with a fridge and a large storage unit. Along with that there was a replicator, capable of creating meals in its databass.

The kitchen was decorated to look more homely too. Some of the kitchen tabletop surfaces and counters had been replaced with wood where possible to make it feel less alien to the young pirate. The chairs had been replaced with wooden ones as well, along with the kitchen table. A rug had been placed under the dining table, and a few tapestries and pieces of silk cloth hung from the walls, some draped over chairs.

"What do you think? Decorations are not my forte but I have tried to make this place more cozy"

"I think you did a very good job at making it more warm. The rug is a very nice touch." She nodded to the mentioned added feature. Reaching over to one of the bench surfaces she placed the basket for later use. That was the upside to sandwiches they would hold up until they were ready.

"If the rest of your ship is like this I think you might be able to fool me into thinking we were taking a sea voyage rather than a space one." Especially if the sleeping quarters were decorated to this extent. She could just hide away under the blankets, Bryn was sure. "Unless, of course, you favor the tying me up and gagging me part." She teased, clearly she wasn't against it.
