Her attention snapped to him when the speaker thudded back down, she snorted softly. She had children, she knew the 'I wasn't touching it' thud. But besides the grin on her face, and the snort, she chose not to say anything. Alexander could have been going through her phone, and she wouldn't have chided him for it either.
"Well I hope it's as good as the things you've heard. I made it myself." Only a couple pieces had been taken from the pizza, the couple she'd eaten earlier. And she wasn't a fair judge of her own food. She pulled up a chair and sat across from him. She didn't want to miss anything but she didn't want to be obvious about it either.
