Alexander tilted his head, the frown deepening into a curious sort of expression. She was going to feed him, too? Maybe it was just a motherly instinct, but he really didn't hate it.
"Oh, are you sure? You know you don't have to, I..." he shook his head and sighed a little, not sure why he was arguing with a woman willing to bring him dinner. "Alright, if you're sure, then thank you," he changed his tune, sure that she wouldn't accept his half-hearted protestations anyway.
He headed over to the billiard tables. It had been a while since he'd played, but he remembered the basics at least, and so he got to work setting it up for them.
