TOWN MEETING

Welcome, welcome, to the first town hall meeting of this wonderful community!

When people arrive, they will be given a paper copy of the agenda, and encouraged to get themselves a drink (tea, coffee, juice, water all provided, as well as finger foods and biscuits etc by Maryanne and AJ). The agenda is just to provide a basic structure, and to make sure the people who definitely wanted to say something aren't forgotten about or spoken over by louder characters once they get there.

Once everyone seems to be arrived and settled, Alexander and Kat will introduce themselves, and then Kat will encourage those present to introduce themselves as well so that people can appreciate the range of times and cultures present in the one community. If it seems to be taking a lifetime, Alex will try to round it up with the promise to circle back to them later in the day.

Kat will give a recap, or first introduction for some, about this station, how it works, some of the random things that happen, fights that have been fought, etc. A brief history of the station / island and the people.

Then...

The Agenda

Rawdon Crawley, 19th Century Earth - Rawdon will openly explain the shooting incident that happened when Alexander first arrived. He'll use straight facts, and answer any questions. If the questions get way too heated, Kat or Alex will intervene, otherwise they'll just let him talk.

Dr Cuddy, 21st Century Earth - Dr Cuddy will present on the topic of the medbay, encouraging newcomers to visit, talking of vaccinations, etc.

Liberty Becket, Ricagambeda, Year 19 - Liberty will present on the topic of space travel and exploration.

Dr Miguel O'Hara, Nueva York, 2099 - Miguel will present on the topic of the school, and try to recruit new members of staff for this endeavour.

There will be a break after this for tea refills, snacks, chat etc, then they'd be called back for Any Other Business, anything else anyone feels they want to bring up.

Once all that has been exhausted, people can stay on to have an informal drink and eat and chat for a bit, then Kat would invite everyone to a less formal location if they want to continue socialising. Kat and Zu will open up portals to the new location to make this an easier transition. By this point they'll probably be getting a big communal dinner of something.

OOC or IC - Introductions

Finn would have introduced himself, Finn Collins, Earth 2149, explain he'd been part of this world for almost eight years, for some self depreciating humor, explain that he was kind of useless on the island, but maybe now he was a little more indispensable since the station needed constant repairs.

Dean would have introduced himself. Dean Winchester, 43, Earth, from Lawrence Kansas, the last known location being Canton Ohio, United States. (He has been canon updated, but quietly got help from one of the people he knew could heal him, if you know you know)He would explain that he is one of the supernatural experts on the station, vessel for Archangel Michael. And part of the security team, and explain that he has an impressive collection of weapons. And that '68 Chevy Impala, a few teaching auditoriums, over was his Baby. He'd explain that he had three kids, Mary Ellen, Jack, and Celeste.

Jack Torrance would have introduced himself, and explained that he was Dan's Dad. That he was most recently from Florida, the United States, and he was home last in 2018. He'd also explain that he was the Language Arts, and Literature, teacher in their little school, and that it was mostly for the kiddos, but he wouldn't be against teaching any adult that might need it.

Frigga would have introduced herself. Yes, that Frigga. If there were any blank faces in the crowd, she would go on to say she was Queen of Asgard, and wife of Odin. Going on to explain that she is the goddess of marriage and motherhood. And jokingly and that she'd willingly wed anyone, that they didn't have to worship her. She'd close by saying she was a sorceress, and mother of Loki and Thor.

Bucky, Shannon, Stevie, and Laura were there, but wouldn't introduce themselves, Laura hanging out in the back with her arms crossed. Maybe next meeting.
