TOWN MEETING

Welcome, welcome, to the first town hall meeting of this wonderful community!

When people arrive, they will be given a paper copy of the agenda, and encouraged to get themselves a drink (tea, coffee, juice, water all provided, as well as finger foods and biscuits etc by Maryanne and AJ). The agenda is just to provide a basic structure, and to make sure the people who definitely wanted to say something aren't forgotten about or spoken over by louder characters once they get there.

Once everyone seems to be arrived and settled, Alexander and Kat will introduce themselves, and then Kat will encourage those present to introduce themselves as well so that people can appreciate the range of times and cultures present in the one community. If it seems to be taking a lifetime, Alex will try to round it up with the promise to circle back to them later in the day.

Kat will give a recap, or first introduction for some, about this station, how it works, some of the random things that happen, fights that have been fought, etc. A brief history of the station / island and the people.

Then...

The Agenda

Rawdon Crawley, 19th Century Earth - Rawdon will openly explain the shooting incident that happened when Alexander first arrived. He'll use straight facts, and answer any questions. If the questions get way too heated, Kat or Alex will intervene, otherwise they'll just let him talk.

Dr Cuddy, 21st Century Earth - Dr Cuddy will present on the topic of the medbay, encouraging newcomers to visit, talking of vaccinations, etc.

Liberty Becket, Ricagambeda, Year 19 - Liberty will present on the topic of space travel and exploration.

Dr Miguel O'Hara, Nueva York, 2099 - Miguel will present on the topic of the school, and try to recruit new members of staff for this endeavour.

There will be a break after this for tea refills, snacks, chat etc, then they'd be called back for Any Other Business, anything else anyone feels they want to bring up.

Once all that has been exhausted, people can stay on to have an informal drink and eat and chat for a bit, then Kat would invite everyone to a less formal location if they want to continue socialising. Kat and Zu will open up portals to the new location to make this an easier transition. By this point they'll probably be getting a big communal dinner of something.

OOC or IC - Introductions

Kat introduces herself at the start alongside with the whole explanation. She will start off by saying that she grew up on the island five hundred years in the future where both new arrivals and descendants had created a society. She is a hybrid and in her mid 20s. She will also point to her various family members.

Loki would only shortly introduce himself as "Loki of Asgard. I am Katherine's father." He might do more of an introduction if he decides to speak up.

Zu will introduce herself, explain that she was from earth in the early 2000s. She knows two timelines, one growing up in the US where children with abilities like hers were hunted and put away into camps and one where she arrived from that point and grew up on the station and lived into a future from now. She will also point to her family.

Kai will be in the back and not say much. He will introduce himself as "Kai Akua, from earth" and that's it.

Gen will be close to Remus and her friends. She will say that she grew up in a parallel version of the island and it was a terrible place. She will also state that she is the daughter of Remus' friend.

Wanda will be there too. She will state that she is from the same place as Steve, Bucky and Thor (Loki can go sod off in her opinion). She is still new year and helps Bucky with the cafe.

Brenna will be with Dan. She will state she is from Norway and mention the Viking equivalent of early 8th century. XD She is a proud Viking.
