TOWN MEETING

Welcome, welcome, to the first town hall meeting of this wonderful community!

When people arrive, they will be given a paper copy of the agenda, and encouraged to get themselves a drink (tea, coffee, juice, water all provided, as well as finger foods and biscuits etc by Maryanne and AJ). The agenda is just to provide a basic structure, and to make sure the people who definitely wanted to say something aren't forgotten about or spoken over by louder characters once they get there.

Once everyone seems to be arrived and settled, Alexander and Kat will introduce themselves, and then Kat will encourage those present to introduce themselves as well so that people can appreciate the range of times and cultures present in the one community. If it seems to be taking a lifetime, Alex will try to round it up with the promise to circle back to them later in the day.

Kat will give a recap, or first introduction for some, about this station, how it works, some of the random things that happen, fights that have been fought, etc. A brief history of the station / island and the people.

Then...

The Agenda

Rawdon Crawley, 19th Century Earth - Rawdon will openly explain the shooting incident that happened when Alexander first arrived. He'll use straight facts, and answer any questions. If the questions get way too heated, Kat or Alex will intervene, otherwise they'll just let him talk.

Dr Cuddy, 21st Century Earth - Dr Cuddy will present on the topic of the medbay, encouraging newcomers to visit, talking of vaccinations, etc.

Liberty Becket, Ricagambeda, Year 19 - Liberty will present on the topic of space travel and exploration.

Dr Miguel O'Hara, Nueva York, 2099 - Miguel will present on the topic of the school, and try to recruit new members of staff for this endeavour.

There will be a break after this for tea refills, snacks, chat etc, then they'd be called back for Any Other Business, anything else anyone feels they want to bring up.

Once all that has been exhausted, people can stay on to have an informal drink and eat and chat for a bit, then Kat would invite everyone to a less formal location if they want to continue socialising. Kat and Zu will open up portals to the new location to make this an easier transition. By this point they'll probably be getting a big communal dinner of something.

It'll look like Loki's let himself go a bit zombie-ish when Miguel stands up to talk, but it's Loki talking with Miguel's accent and phrasing and nervous mannerisms. He signs everything as he speaks. He'll explain that he's the other Miguel but that he's swapped bodies with Loki (the zombie look will get a bit worse at that point, but he'll try and make it better.) and he doesn't know how to swap back.

He's going to explain the background and history of the Shit Station where he came from - not as an attempt to make anyone feel bad or upset or anything, but just... so that people know? How resources were almost non-existant, how The Man liked to really fuck with people and things (and why the changes bother him so much), how some people have/had versions on the other station as well, and how Higgs and The Man fucked them over with the plan for coming to this station. At times, he'll slip from looking like a zombie to literally becoming a ghost and then back again - the more upset he gets, the more he slips towards being a ghost. If needs be, Dan will step in to help him while he's a ghost, in case not everyone can see/hear him.

He'll be a ghost by the end of this. It's fairly obvious that he is Not Okay.

	Alex tries not to outwardly show that this entire episode is freaking him out, but he'll definitely be giving Kat 'panic eyes', particularly towards the end when he goes full ghost. He has no clue what is Best To Do here, and will let her take over. (Reply to this) (Parent)

"She can come, it would definitely make my semi jealous husband less jealous." Scarlet would nod toward Maria. "She can learn how to help you focus, maybe draw your attention away from whatever is stressing you out, and at the very least, calm you." She would offer him a sweet smile, and her hand, which was ghostly enough that he would be able to touch it without trying, but not enough that her coloring was off.

	Miguel will look back at Maria and sign what Scarlet's saying, so she can follow along. But he'll hesitate a lot before even trying to take Scarlet's hand, and even then, he'll let go after a couple of seconds - he's really not good at touching people. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	He would nod at the mention of the necklace, and reach up to rub his thumb against the back of the pendant. They should probably leave so the meeting can continue. He's going to leave. Loki will not looked too pleased at Miguel losing control of his body. "I told you you need to keep calm. It's not that difficult." Which will then lead to Kat giving him The Look. "Dad, not helpful. You took about a year to get everything under control. So don't 'not that difficult' him." Then her tone softens looking at Scarlet and Miguel. "Thank you for sharing, Miguel. It is much appreciated. If you would like to take a break, Scarlet knows what to do."

	Maria had a hard time staying still while watching Miguel signs. At times, she would get out of her seat, trying to hold onto him when he was slipping into ghost mode. And she was very sympathetic to everything he'd been though on shit-station. Afterwards, she'd tell him that she wanted to move into his apartment to be there for him during this ghost situation.
