Oh, there certainly were ghosts here. More than he had imagined when he came through the door. Blank up and decided to come to this place alone, to 'scout it out.' He was unsure if this place was dangerous or not, and as he loved his wife and son more than anything, he wanted some alone time. This might have been the perfect place for it. Especially at night.
No one was out and about, it was only the spirits. Blank didn't have the Shinning like Dan did, he had his own way of seeing ghosts. Dan was right, none of them seemed unfriendly, most of them seemed to be going through their former day to day lives. It was not uncommon.
It made him a little sad to see them 'living' like this, never crossing over because they were stuck. Part of him wanted to help them, but he always remembered Bryn's words on keeping a low profile.
Blank was a bit away from the village itself, sitting on top of a rock, simply keeping an eye on things. Just in case, y'know? It's not like he really slept anymore, not after The Seam, not after... His head tilted to the side as he popped the bones in his neck. While he could feel the energies of several people from the Station, the one that intrigued him most, was Dan. They didn't know each other all that well. But, with Bryn, they had a connection. She was Dan's mother-in-law, and his own Godmother.
Then, almost out of the blue, Dan caught his attention as he walked out of his and Breena's shared home. It caused his head to tilt to the side, seeing as they rarely talked.. Maybe this was the right time. He closed his eyes and focused his mind, reaching out to Dan.
"Hey. It's nice to see a familiar face. I'm about a hundred feet up the hill to your right." Blank was unsure if he did that right. Telepathy wasn't his forte, no matter the form. "Sitting on a rock" His arm moved up as he waved, hoping that at least might catch Dan's attention.
