Who: Zu and Ed'wari When: Afternoon What: Tea with a New Arrival Where: Winter Garden in Little Asgard Status: Unfinished
Suzume had always felt bad for the people who had only just arrived here. She could still remember how scared she herself had been, running through those corridors, attempting to hide from the adults as best as she could. And even after their kindness, she has still been scared. Being a child had both helped and hindered her. It was easier to accept something new but at the same time she had been filled with fear.
So, she tried to make others feel at home. Her cousin and her shared that quest. Back in her world, they had often greeted strangers together, especially the ones who had no one else on the station. Now, it was only her and a perfectly laid out tea set. Japanese in making, it was one of the few things that connected her to her original culture. She had placed it on one of the tables in the winter garden, the old converted cafe. Cakes and biscuits had joined them. It was a pretty arrangement, complete with a matching vase and freshly picked flowers. It was the opposite of what her cousin tended to display. Kat tended to grab whatever pots and plates she could find first, then Zu decided to change them. It had been a well-oiled routine back in her original timeline. She missed that life very much.
