Maria put the coffee on and looked at all of her brother's wonderful pastries. She took one of the large cinnamon rolls and sliced it in half, then placed each half on its own plate. When the coffee was done, she poured two cups, adding a flavored creamer and sugar to hers. She looked over, making sure Miguel was looking. "Milk? Cream? Sugar?" She signed and then made the coffee as he liked (or left it black if he liked).
She placed the cups and the plates on a tray and carried them over, setting his cup and one of the plates in front of him. "A snack with coffee makes it better." She signed after she sat down across from him with her own coffee and half-roll.
