Re: Abra, Dan, Higgs
Dan's mind flooded with mixed feelings from the being he took the hand of.
Fear, nothing should have been able to find it. Embarrassment, it didn't want to be seen in this way. Comfort, human touch had been a sensation forgotten. Relief, it wouldn't be alone in it's final moments.
The combination was enough to help ease the passing of this half creature, the tattered flag of a soul tied to a broken mast in whipping wind. Dan heard a whisper of a reply. "Help them." it spoke, paired with an image of the slightly different, but familiar faces of his peers on the station.

Higgs watched the display from Abra idly, his cloak flicked in the "sandstorm" wildly buffeted by winds. He sighed to himself, preparing power and steeling himself for attack.
Abra was strong, competent with mindscape and mental battle. But this was his domain, here he was God, creator, source and script. He would entertain her anger and the catharsis she needed. But his safety was off, he had no reason to hold back, especially not now. He knew this was the beginning of the end of the road and he would make it cost. This would be a lesson.
